Set up media triggers

When you set a media trigger on your Hexanode Device (Noise Standalone or Noise + Dust), you’ll automatically capture photos and 6 seconds of audio whenever the LAmax level you choose is exceeded.

🤝 Good to know: The default media threshold is 75 dB LAmax. You can change this anytime to suit your project.

How to Set It Up

Set up your Monitoring Point (make sure it’s already created on your project).

1. On the Dashboard, open the side panel.

2. Click the Monitoring Point you want to adjust.

3. Click the Manage Button.

1. Select Media Triggers.

2. Enter the LAmax value you’d like as your media capture trigger.

3. Hit Save 

⚡ Tip: You’ll need to repeat this for each Monitoring Point on your project.
